American Lung Association of Connecticut is pleased to inform you that our organization is a participant the Neighborhood Assistance Act Tax Credit Program of Connecticut. We invite you to utilize this financial arrangement approved by the State of CT Department of Revenue Services to help benefit nonprofits.
The State of Connecticut has set aside available tax credits through this program, which certain corporations may use to reduce their tax liabilities to the State of Connecticut though contributions to approved charitable organizations like ours in the state. From the corporation's perspective, the minimum contribution covered would be $250 and the maximum amount $75,000. Consider sending your minimum State tax payments of $250 to our approved program. You would be fulfilling your minimal State tax obligation and supported the effectiveness of our programs. Last year hundreds of corporations in Connecticut took advantage of this program and reduced their tax payments. We invite you to join them in supporting a good cause through this successful State approved giving program. The following one page State Business Application is required and, which your firm will need to submit to the State between September 15, 2008 and October 1, 2008. Please return this to our office or to the State upon your desire to pledge to support our organization through this program.
