Instead of trading in old vehicles, or trying to sell them, people are donating their cars, vans or boats to the American Lung Association of Connecticut. Your donation funds the American Lung Association of Connecticut's education, research, and advocacy efforts. The Vehicle Donation Program provides immediate returns to the community through the sale of donated vehicles at auction. Thank you for your support!
If you are interested in donating your car, truck, van or boat, please visit our page. The Vehicle Donation Form must be printed and submitted directly (by mail or in person) to the American Lung Association of Connecticut along with the signed title. Therefore, this form is not available for submission through the server.

Cleaning Up the Air
The American Lung Association has long been a proponent of clean air and other environmental causes. Cars that sit unused for months at a time often pose an environmental hazard, especially if anti-freeze and other toxic chemicals have not been drained properly.
Is My Car Eligible?
We will accept the following vehicles: Any car, truck or van, 1991 or newer or Classic cars (vehicles 20 years or older) We will accept most older European, foreign, or American cars in good condition with low miles. We also accept boats. Please call 1-800-577-LUNG for details. All cars, trucks and vans must have an engine and 4 tires.
Simple Steps to Donate
Click here to access a form or call the American Lung Association of Connecticut at 1-800-577-LUNG for an application. Mail us your title, signed appropriately. We will contact you to make arrangements to pick up your vehicle, free of charge for vehicles 1991 or newer. We will send you a confirmation of your donation and the IRS required documentation.
